NIA supports Responsible NanoCode Consultation in the US

The Nanotechnology Industries Association (NIA) today participated in the US launch of the Responsible NanoCode Dr Steffi Friedrichs, Director of the NIA, introduced the history leading to the initiative to develop the Code for Responsible Nanotechnology, and was followed by Ms Rachel Crossley ofInsight Investment, who explained its content and ‘comply or explain’ background.

The introduction of the Code was followed by a panel discussion, supported by Dr David Rejeski of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, Dr Michael Holmes of Lux Research, Dr Michael Hansen of the Consumers Union, and Mr Sean Murdock of the NanoBusiness Alliance.
