NanoGap

NanoGap is an innovative company based on the research carried out by Professors M. A. López-Quintela and J. Rivas (University of Santiago de Compostela), experts on the nanotechnology field with more than 250 publications on high impact journals and several patents (J. Rivas is the director of the next Iberian International Nanotechnology Center).
Nanogap produces several classes of metallic and magnetic nanoparticles (Ag, Au, Pt, Cu, Co and Iron oxides among other).
We produce them in different sizes and with different coatings, based on the needs of our customers.
We also produce sub nm particles: Atomic Quantum Clusters (AQCs). From 2 to 100 atoms.
Nanogap produces metallic and magnetic nanoparticles as raw material. We customize our particles depending on the needs of our customers.
We are currently serving nanoparticles for a wide range of final applications and researchs, for example coatings, nanocomposites, polymers and medical field among others.

Clusters in the range from 2 to 100 atoms can be provided. Clusters display interesting catalitic, fluorescent and magnetic properties.

Excitation espectra of Silver clusters showing an example of the novel properties of the novel fluorescent properties of silver (and gold) AQCs.
The success of our clients on their research work or the launching of a new product based on the novel properties of nanotechnology is also our success.
